After 15 years, our kitchen was in sad shape—the floors and countertops were worn, the cabinets and walls stained. But rather than a compete redo, we decided on a more cost-effective refresh. We had the floors sanded and coated, put in new countertops, and hired James Harvey Painting & Color to refinish the cabinets and repaint the room. Husband and wife team Maribeth and Jay did a fantastic job. Maribeth’s suggestions for cabinet, wall and trim colors and Jay’s professional work painting led to impressive results. The green of the cabinets ties the room to the gardens seen through the bank of windows, and the warm white of the walls highlights the posts, beams and paneling in this18th century room. We couldn’t be happier!
